The way we perceive the world around us as well as the items in it, is dependent on our past experiences. Whether these perceptions are correct or not, are equally dependent on a continued validation of what you physically or mentally record and/or have the fortitude to realize your understanding might be flawed and in need of more information.
So what happens when you are presented with a situation when you have NO prior experience with it? To run this observation, you will need:
· A pen, pencil, or marker. (Using some different colors will make this more interesting.)
· 20 Index cards
· Some volunteers, the more the better, and
· your lab notebook or something to record your results
