For this episode, we’ll revisit a previous project that involves some simple gaming and see if all that phone texting is actually helpful!
First, find out about how long your friends and family think they text in a given day or weekend. To help you with this, I’ve posted a document on the iseescience.weebly.com website. Once you’ve gotten the document, head over to, Neuroscience for Kids and go to the “Brain Games” section for the actual set of tests. From there, scroll down to the “On-line Response Time Experiments”. Of course you can do any of the tests, but in particular, have your subjects take the Hit-the-Dot test (Experiment 3) and the Check box test (Experiment 5).
How do you think your subjects’ ability to perform and score was related to their texting ability? What else could influence their ability to perform these response time experiments? Show me using the link below!
